Having visited Spain many times, I consider myself quite a paella enthusiast, so I was genuinely surprised to find such an outstanding paella in Scotland. It was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavour. The service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Alfonso, who was incredibly friendly, sociable, and attentive. He gave excellent recommendations and made us feel very welcome throughout the evening. One piece of advice: do not order the “Majorca” salad… unless you’re prepared to fall in love with it! What an exquisite restaurant. I really loved the interior design and all the decorative tiling. The food was spectacular, too. We ordered the asparagus, artichoke and tomato salad, meatballs in tomato sauce, pulled lamb shoulder and the Serrano ham croquettes. Everything was beautifully prepared and tasted fantastic. The lamb packed a punch—rich, unctuous and tender, with a Vampire-repelling garlicky purée, so take care if you’re on a romantic date or important business meal.
