Ordered the chorizo nachos, the sweet potato and feta taquito, the beef gringa taco, baja fish taco, buttermilk chicken taco, and the grilled ajillo chicken club quesadilla. Everything was perfectly done from taste to crispness. Thanks to our lovely server, Nell who made all the great recommendations! Interiors were nice and creative, too. Worth the visit!

Great experience, very good food, good cocktails, excellent service, interesting atmosphere. We were just snacking, to get a proper meal is a bit costly. But definitely worth it. Reservation is advisable, especially at lunch or dinner time as it is a very popular place. However, you can wait for a table and be served drinks at the bar or at a few tables outside (rare in Edinburgh).

My husband and I visited Wahaca last August, and we’re still talking about how fantastic the food was! We started with guac and salsa flight, which was such a great choice. Each salsa was unique, packed with fresh flavors, and the guac was just as impressive. For mains, we had the crispy cauliflower and the beetroot tostada. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Beyond the food, the ambience was lovely and the service was attentive and friendly. If you’re craving Mexican food while in Edinburgh, I would highly recommend Wahaca.
