We visited on Easter Friday and had a table booked for 6 o’clock. It was quite quiet. It’s a lovely setting right by the river, so great views from the tables, I can imagine it’s lively in a sunny summers day. We had two chicken liver pate with goats cheese to start, which was incredible. I’ve never seen this combination before, but it just elevated the dish. For mains two of us had the monk fish wrapped in Parma ham with lobster sauce, and mash, and one of us had the whole sea bass. I love this restaurant . I always choose here for a special occasion as it just has that special feel. Located right on the river side it really feels like you’re dining on holiday here. The outside may look inauspicious, but the moment you step inside you’re transported into a beautiful waterside restaurant with a calm, elegant atmosphere. A gorgeous riverside setting with a spacious, airy veranda and a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, with people stopping by from their boats. The service was impeccable and the food absolutely outstanding. The fried calamari, truffle chips and tiramisu were particular highlights and among the best we’ve had.
