Went here on 26 Dec. Only 2 staff working so they had nobody to clear tables and wash up so they ran out of cups. So we ended up with the takeaway paper cups. Customers were helping to clear tables so they could sit with room on their table. All other coffee places nearby were closed so everyone was going here to get their hot drinks. There was a wait for hot drinks as one of the staff members was taking the orders and the other staff member was taking the money. The two staff members worked hard and never stopped for a break. Wasn't their fault just management didn't have enough staff on duty

Enjoyed a hot drink and some of their delicious chocolate orange cake, because of that we will hopefully see that again in another Coffee#1. Friendly staff.

Honestly this is the worst coffee shop I have ever been to and that’s saying something. I live in the town and every time I go I hope it’s better than the last, sadly it’s usually worse There is never enough staff, today there was one person serving with a queue of people waiting. Took 12 minutes to even get to point of ordering a simple black coffee. And not even an apology got the wait, just a ‘couldn’t care less’ attitude from the server. Called today Tuesday 15th August expecting a nice cup of coffee no we had to have our coffee in a paper cup due to no proper cups being available you could see why because the tables had not been cleared we noticed a few customers walking inn then straight back out again.There were only two members of staff on duty I would of thought 🤔 you need at least three working. My wife is gluten free and they isn't a good choice of food only crisps and cake.
