I pooped in for a snack and the lady serving was superb and helpful, I wanted a very small sprinkle of chips with my small fish and she obliged. Good prices and just £1.50 extra to eat in the very clean restaurant, a good option to shelter from the December winds and rain. Overall a great and simple experience thanks 🤩

Myself and partner decided to pop into Capels whilst visiting Exmouth on our holidays from Devon Cliffs Caraven Park by bus.Best fish and chips we have had for ages. Lovely white fish and thin batter. Couldn't fault it. Place nice and clean. And two gentlemen serving friendly. Wish it was closer to Birmingham

Wow, amazing fish and chips at a great price. The fish was white, it was so fresh, not too much batter to fish ratio, the chips were crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside

It’s a standard fish & chips place. I would say that it was above average but I had better hence the 4 stars rating. I tried the Large cod with large chips and it was challenging to finish it all, though I am a heavy guy. I would recommend getting the medium cod.
