Starting with the positives, busy enough place which clearly has an established client base which creates a nice atmosphere. Staff are very good, service was flawless, it was pleasing to see so many staff actually doing their job and keeping on top of their workload. The food however was poor, what I was served was bordering on terrible, ordered a breakfast and yes, it will be greasy to an extent, but this was bad and as the photo's will show, no care at all has been taken, tomato sauce from baked beans erupting all over the dish, it takes 2 secs to wipe that or change it into a clean dish. Went for some lunch today. Staff were super friendly and great dealing with my allergies and making sure there was a vegan option for me. We were served super quickly even though its a busy wee place. Had the most amazing vegan lemon and blueberry cake too! We even took lots of cakes away for family as they looked unbelievable. Highly recommend

On arriving for our Mother’s Day afternoon tea, we were surprised to see that the food was already on the table and uncovered. This made us wonder how long it had been sitting there before we arrived. We were asked fairly quickly what drinks we would like, but it took quite a while for the two pots of tea to arrive. When they did arrive, we had to ask separately for milk and teaspoons. The sausage rolls were warm, which was nice. However, the sandwiches were disappointing. Went for Afternoon Tea. One tea is just too big for one person. We took half of our portions away in the paper box. Food is very tasty, and I would say I prepared daily. My wife is gluten free, this option is available on request as well as vegan and dairy free, and she enjoyed the sandwiches and pastries 🍰 . Would go back and can recommend the place . Tea for child had options for kids I.e pancakes, strawberries
