I had been meaning to call in to Shark Chippy for quite some time, and what a fabulous place it turned out to be to stop and grab some high-quality chippy fare. It really is unique. After reviewing over 180 fish and chip shops nationwide, this was the first time I had come across a chippy with a fish supplier attached. At either end of the large, dedicated car park, you have two very different but connected operations. At one end sits the mobile chippy van, which appears to be permanently sited, and at the other is a huge warehouse and shop where you can purchase a great range of fish species

Never been to Fleetwood before — near Blackpool, for the similarly uninitiated — but after a wander around the famous Fleetwood Indoor Market, the siren call of fish and chips began doing what fish and chips does best: ruining all other lunch plans. But where to go? Enter Google Maps, that modern oracle of hunger. Shark Chippy appeared a few results down, and the photos looked exactly like the sort of thing that could fix a person. Honestly think this is the best fish I've had! Got the halibut and there was loads of it - 2 fillets! The softest, whitest fish. Thoroughly enjoyed!!! The rest of the family got the cod lunchtime special and loved it too

​If you’re in Fleetwood, The Shark Chippy is the only place you need to know. ​We had a lunch "date" and both chose the haddock. It was delicious, fresh flakes and a batter that actually stays crispy. Their chips are exactly what you want: chunky, golden, and proper.We also opted for a small sausage, we were a little bit peckish :-) ​The real game-changers, though, are the sides. The gravy is thick and savoury (none of that watery stuff), and the fruity curry sauce is the perfect mix of sweet and spice. It’s easily one of the best chippies on the coast if not the best. 10/10—don't skip the sid
