Having once lived along the coast road running through Flint, I was eager to finally pop into The Crescent Fish & Chip Shop for a review as part of The Chippy Tour. I had heard much about their extensive range of in-house pies and was excited to give them a try – and I wasn’t disappointed. The shop is located on the main coast road, Chester Road, with some street parking available nearby. We ordered 3 lots of fish and chips. The chips were hard and uncooked, the fish had a funny taste, almost like it was out of date. The gravy was the only nice part. Definitely not happy with what we bought, wouldn’t return.

I have been to this chippy a few times and overall the food is pretty good. But I stopped for a bit of lunch today, I initially ordered chips and savoury cake unfortunately no savoury cake so I changed to chips with a stake pie. I unwrapped the food and ate a chip only to discover they were borderline cold I wouldn't even say Luke warm. I then tried the pie and this was same, fortunately I don't mind a cool pie but as for the chips, they were wasted because I was passing through and had no way of warming them up. To be fair I think if the food had been hot it would've been of their usual stan

The best fish & chips in Flint and probably one of the finest I've ever eaten 😃 Crispy and juicy fish and the best fried chips. Curry sauce here is the legend. Standard price, you never wait long for your order.
