Really beautiful food and reasonably priced. Great service from the waitresses. One gripe, is that the maitre d' seemed very off hand. She was not particularly customer focused throughout our visit, and when we asked for the bill, just walked off and started doing something else. We then asked one of the younger waitresses and the bill was brought over instantly. Thank goodness for the friendly and helpful waitresses!

Three words. Daily. Tart. Stunning. This venue is found at the very top of Catherine Hill, hang a right. It is a beautiful venue, not sure of the history, but it's sure to be interesting. We were tired and hungry, and we'd had a busy weekend visiting the area. We (likely) had some light sunstroke after a glorious morning in the sunshine exploring Frome Market. This place was found after a short walk away from our 'parking space by misadventure' and was just the tonic we needed. It's also just a stone's throw from Hung, Drawn and Quoted, which is another bonus.

We had lunch only today April 2026. All food was pretty average for Frome but the service left us with a bad taste in our mouths! The restaurant was quiet so I guess the women serving us were just having a bad day? The experience was a little shocking and it would put me off going again. Reading other reviews it looks like it maybe was not just a bad day. So sad 😞
