I really like this cafe. My husband and I are frequent customers. However, the dog friendly situation has started to go too far and is compromising the cafe’s hygiene. I’m starting to get put off, tbh. First, the staff are being too permissive of unacceptable behaviour of dog owners with their dogs. The other day, a dog owner let her dog put its paws on the counter where we pay and then collect our coffee and staff didn’t say anything. Instead, I had to call her out. I love stopping here while on a walk along the riverside. Excellent, wide choice of food and drinks. Service can be slow on busier days and you sometimes have to cue at the counter but worth the wait. Plenty seating on two levels and outside. A lovely spot. Family and dog friendly.

Excellent location to end a brisk walk along the river. Seats approx 40, with an upstairs and conservatory- like section. Interesting painini choices such as chorizo and ham. Good coffee here too. Provisions for dogs too, including blankets. Would be great to visit again in the warmer seasons.

Really good tasty food. The cheesy sourdough bread was a nice addition to the breakfast. Good coffee as well. Decent portions for the price. Quiet spot with free parking, short walk away. Nice view of the river. Staff were polite and helpful.
