Went here with the daughter. Not what I call a bar, but can see why it appeals to the younger crowd... Some board games to play. Nice comfy seats upstairs. Glasses chilled in the fridge.

Nice drinks, and the bar service was good. My friends and I took our drinks outside and a member of staff came out to let us know it was after 10pm and illegal to drink outside. He was completely right and it was an oversight on our part, so we got up and apologised straight away. Instead of leaving it there, he added “it’s only been a law for 10 years” and walked off, which felt unnecessary. I’ve been here before and the service felt a bit off then too, although this was New Year’s Eve. We were all relatively sober and had just come in from a long walk in the rain at 11PM. I hosted my birthday at Bananamoon and the staff were very accommodating beforehand, answered all my questions beforehand and were amazing on the day too. I would really recommend it as great venue to celebrate with friends.
