Celinos has completely gone downhill. If you’ve previously had a great experience and are thinking of going back expecting the same level of quality (like I had) then save your money and go elsewhere. I ordered an Italiano sandwich to takeaway. This sandwich states on the menu to include pan fried Italian sausage, mozzarella, tomato, lettuce and mayo. Sounds simple enough! Not only did it take them 40 minutes to make this sandwich, when I opened it up at home, the attached photo is what I’d been given. I ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was absolutely spot on. The base was perfectly airy with a beautifully charred, crispy crust, and the tomato sauce had that rich, fresh flavor that pairs so well with melted mozzarella. Foods excellent, really enjoyed it. I ordered the penne meatballs, the sauce was beautiful, meatballs were incredible. My partner ordered the soup and sandwich deal, thought £15 was steep, however the size and quality of the sandwich and soup showed why its worth the price, well worth it. Soup was 10/10. Service, hit and miss, were attentive, got us seated quickly, then after that it was radio silence. Probably an off day or short staffed. Highly recommend. Lastly, the lady with the lovely accent behind the deli counter was really friendly and definitely upsold us on the ice creams and bro

Ordered a takeaway delivery and extremely disappointed. Eggs over cooked and externally they were over fried. Potato scones hardly cooked and soggy. Beans in the pot didnt look fresh dried looking. Then to make matters worse a hair cooked into the egg. Sorry but if you cannot use hair coverings and no presentation of cooked food all thrown on top of each other and no care to cooking food I most certainly will not order from your cafe again.
