Having been a regular customer, a number of years ago, when I worked nearby, I was looking forward to taking my wife for a pre-theatre dinner. Sadly, first impressions were not good. There was no warmth in the welcome from the manager, there was a perfunctory showing us to a table, from which we were then moved.
