We popped in for a bite to eat in the morning prior to setting out for the day. The menu was limited for breakfast, however the food was cooked superbly. We were sat at the front of the venue and for some reason all of the staff seemed to hang around at the far end of the bar, so getting their attention was difficult. We were told it was table service, however after 10 minutes nobody had come over, so I went over to the bar only to be told again it’s table service, at which point someone came over. Unfortunately, this was an extremely disappointing experience. We came for lunch with a group of three people. At first, everything seemed fine: we were shown to our table, given menus, and our drink order was taken and served. After that, however, we were simply ignored. Despite waiting for quite some time, nobody came to take our food order. Instead, several staff members were standing around at the counter, seemingly engaged in private conversations.
