Security is the only thing that ruins this bar, we have been in on Thursday and Friday absolutely fine and the staff, drinks, atmosphere and security were great, came in on Saturday with a mate who likes to ask if we can go in for a drink rather than just pushing in and the security in the picture said we weren’t aloud? 🤔 we have a friend who is from Africa with us on Saturday only difference than the last few days we were in so I’ve got a feeling he’s just discriminating, no one had a drink before hand so no reason to get rejected otherwise.. really need to take a look at this guy and if it’

Budget lunch at The Toby Jug The Toby Jug is legendary...mainly due to the raucous beer garden and cheap drink deals on offer.  Is this the cheapest place for a pint in Glasgow? It can take for ever to get served because its always mobbed so although a great spot you cant be shy when at the bar because people will push in front of you and in my opinion there aren't enough bar staff. But its a great cheaper boozer staff are nice enough.

Genuinely think I’ve had better service from a GP surgery. Came in on Monday night for a drink with my partner. Asked the blonde barmaid for a Long Island Iced Tea jug and you’d of thought I swore in her face. Horrible attitude, stomped about the place like I was in her way, and then went down to the other end of the bar and we could hear her complaining about having to make what we’d ordered. Came back to us and essentially threw the card machine across the bar to me, not a please or thank you in sight.
