Really lovely place to go for a meal. The food was fantastic, well presented and great portion sizes. The only reason it’s a 4/5, is because it took an hour until we received our main meals and another 30 minutes for our dessert - our table was pre-booked, there was 9 adults, 2 kids (so can understand some wait time, an hour just feels excessive). A few of the beer options were out of stock and same with some food items. However, the staff were friendly, lovely, and attentive.

Sorry, but unfortunately not worth and not recommended for dinner, rather as an pub. The dishes were served poorly and clearly reheated dishes. E.g. the potatoes and the turkey of the main dish were very dry. E.g.a potato is crusty from the outside bit dry as hell from the inside. The Christmas pudding was served frozen, after complaining they just reheated. I expect from such a high rated restaurant self cooked dishes. The service was horrible, slow, late, and kept forgetting us, even while trying to reach out several hours times.

Pretty shocking to be honest. Food advertised as "excellent meals at a reasonable price" - we found neither to be true. The quality of the food was sub-par, what was advertised as "bloomer bread and butter" arrived as limp slices of white loaf (think Warburtons) bread with blocks of cold hard butter on top. The burgers were definitely frozen patties akin to those served in a school canteen. Onion rings were underfried, flavourless and coated in grease. The price of meals of this quality was extortionate, £18~ for frozen burgers, I could get a better meal at spoons! The staff were lovely though
