I visited this establishment (18/02/26) with a friend and our children, and from the moment we arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. It was genuinely lovely to see food being served with a smile. The food itself tasted amazing — it was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. You could actually see the seasoning in the batter, which made such a difference, and the chips looked fresh and golden rather than pale or underdone and there tartar sauce was hands down the BEST I've ever had. If I ever visit Great Yarmouth again, there will be no doubt about where I’ll be eating. I

Visited the takeaway during the Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival and it was understandably very busy. The man on the till was so calm and patient and dealt with the queue so well, making sure everyone was aware there would be quite a bit of a wait. We waited around half an hour which again, was understandable given how busy the takeaway and restaurant were during the Wheels Festival. We ordered regular fish and chips and whilst on the smaller side for the price, it was worth the wait. Harry Ramsden’s definitely lived up to their reputation!

My partner and I went to Harry Ramsden’s for lunch today, we had the fishcakes with chips and gravy and the battered jumbo sausages with chips and curry sauce. The food was spot on, cooked perfectly and full of flavour. Our server Phil was absolutely brilliant, very warm, welcoming and friendly, couldn’t do enough for us and others in the restaurant, very polite too. It wasn’t a busy time so we didn’t have to wait long for our food which was nice. Can’t fault it, will definitely be back. Thanks again Phil, top server! :)

After we visited Sea Life Great Yarmouth on Thursday, we went to Harry Ramsden's for a late lunch. We were seated straight away as the restaurant was mostly empty. The man who took our order was welcoming and friendly and had a lovely chat with us while we were eating. He asked us about our day and where we had travelled from. I had a small cod and chips with garden peas, which was delicious. I even managed to finish it all! My daughter enjoyed eating her fish bites and chips from the kid's menu.
