Quiet during the day, which is when I attended, so no atmosphere to speak of. Decor is ok. Interestingdisplay of dried handmade pastas in the window, which I assume they use in the meals. They also run pasta-making classes, according to a sign in the restaurant. VERY LITTLE on the menu for vegetarians/vegans. Prices reasonable for the location and items available. Reasonable portions. Staff were polite but not overly friendly. The public toilet was clean. Would I go again? As a vegetarian, only if I had to due to the limited menu. Wow what an experience. I booked the taste of Umbria experience and went with my friend for a slow evening learning to make fresh pasta. (we had ragu instead of truffle butter but i still loved it) On entry we were greeted with friendly welcoming staff and a delicious appetiser and prosecco. Chef Angelica was amazing, loved the way she weaved teaching with her personal memories and history. Her method was easy to follow and before long we were making our own pasta. The ragu the staff made was amazing, so delicious and I enjoyed taking notes from Chef Angelica about how to recreate it at home.

The service was surprisingly rude, especially from the bald male server. He didn’t offer shredded cheese, and we felt slightly rushed when he asked for the bill after we’d only been there for less than an hour. As for the pasta, the sauces were quite mediocre. The carbonara lacked any real cheesy flavour, which was particularly disappointing from a place called Pasta Evangelists.

GAVE US FOOD POISONING Went here at 4pm, service was terrible considering there were hardly any tables. Also told no prawns so nothing with prawns on the menu. And also no risotto of any kind. Well that’s like 1/3 of the menu off, which should have been a red flag. But we ordered our food anyway. It took ages to come, was mediocre at best. And then 2/3 of our party had to book it home about 5 minutes after leaving the restaurant, and been sat in pain on the loo for the rest of the night.
