It seems to be a family owned business… staff is kind, caring, full of positivity, and passionate about making delicious food. The afternoon tea is just £15 (as of May 2026), and breakfast items are under £9. I had the most delicious breakfast burrito of my life, and such a comfy afternoon tea. Scones are fresh and hot! If you’re a snob you might not enjoy the interior, but if your focus is on company, service and food quality, this is truly a 10/10 cafe.

Actually, there was no issue with the food — it was perfectly fine. However, the service left something to be desired. The waitress was clearly very busy; I stood in front of her at the counter for about a minute without being acknowledged. I only wanted to ask for a menu, but when she finally noticed me, she simply said it was already on the table or I can grab one from the wall. I was sitting at an outdoor table, and there was no menu there at all. Also, the two scones included in our afternoon tea set were noticeably smaller — at least 30% smaller — than the two scones served to the table

We are regulars here and it is consistently great. Delicious breakfasts; the poached eggs are always perfectly cooked. Great vegetarian options. Afternoon tea is also a nice treat! Highly recommended.
