Lovely breakfast really nice sausages thank you to all staff .we went a few weeks ago now we stayed for more coffee it was so busy we realised we were taking up a table space so we left. I usually go with mum but took my sisters and their partners they were all well impressed. Price reasonable aswell I think it was £5 for a breakfast £7 for belly buster this was 2025 it published late

I had a delicious breakfast in the Courtyard Cafe. My go to choice is the breakfast bun which contains sausage, bacon, a hash brown, mushrooms, fried egg and a choice of beans or tomato’s (beans win every time for me). The bun is served open due to the quantity of fillings and whilst it looks a bit messy it tastes amazing. As others have said I’m not sure of the brand of sausage but they are large and tasty. The cafe can get very busy so get there early or be prepared to wait a short while, it’s that popular.

This 'quaint' café within the Freeman Street market is modelled on a courtyard and I'm told that the meal ingredients are sourced from the market stallholders! Proof of this? Try the sausages on the breakfast menu. The menu has a hearty breakfast in single, double and even treble sized portions that includes toast or fried bread and a decent mug of tea! Other menu items are listed with specials on a blackboard. The service is provided by good-natured ladies and there are toilets nearby.

Really nice breakfasts. Nothing greasy, just well cooked food food for a range of budgets. You can get sausage and egg or a bellybuster. Up to you really!
