I'm normally a big fan of Cafe Nero however this branch is so unloved. During a recent visit I was served by a really abrasive member of staff who was unpleasant to both me when my Cafe Nero app seemed to be blipping and his colleague who was doing her best to deal with a busy queue. On multiple other occasions when I've visited the place has needed a good clean and the furnishings could do with being updated (ripped, bashed etc). It doesn't feel like there's a lot of care for the customer experience here.

I pop into this Caffè Nero around three times a week, and it’s consistently a great experience. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the coffee is always spot‑on. It’s become one of my favourite places to take a break or get a bit of work done. Highly recommend it.

Quick mini lunch at Nero in Guildford. Fast and efficient service. No queue, tables to sit at and lovely hot drinks with a ham and mozzarella toastie. Vibrant place with plenty of customers.

The coffee is good, more flavour that Costa/Starbucks. Service at the counter is fine. But this place is filthy- I don't think the toilet floor has seen a mop for years. The furniture is in need of a refresh, and the whole interior badly needs a deep clean, it just feels grubby. Not enough clearing and cleaning of tables going on either. with coffee @ £4 a cup, there should be some money spare for cleaning and maintenance. I feel obliged to give 1 star for the overall experience in spite of the good coffee and counter service.
