Gordo's is one of the best places to eat in Guildford, no doubt about it if you like Mexican food. I tend to always order the tacos Al Pastor and the courgettes as a side. Consistently well cooked and seasoned, great additions of salsa and garnish. Today I tried the grilled lamb chops from the starter section, which come with a fresh and light pineapple salsa. Cooked medium (which is my personal preference) they were a standout dish for me today. Thank you for yet another delicious meal and lovely service.

Came here after an unexpected trip to Guildford and this place was the perfect treat to end a long day. Staff were friendly and attentive, menu was great with lots of options at good prices. Food was delicious, you could tell it was fresh and made with care. The portions were perfectly sized, just enough to fill you up without becoming a challenge. The Cochinita Pibil was super tender and juicy, heavenly with the guacamole and sour cream. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here again if I'm ever in the area

Been here two nights in a row and had a brilliant experience both times! Food is amazing - great quality and all cooked fresh in an open kitchen so you can see the care that goes in. Very authentic dishes, excited to a very high standard. Al Pastor and Fish tacos a highlight, along with the empanadas. Staff are lovely and friendly. Couldn’t find a fault! Def note our fave restaurant in Guildford!
