Stopped by for Sunday lunch and honestly couldn’t fault it. The roast was excellent – huge Yorkshire pudding, generous portions, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. Staff were friendly without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. It’s the sort of pub you end up staying longer in than planned. Will definitely be back for another roast soon. Highly recommend.

We were downstairs and we'd gone because they are dog friendly. But only in the bar area as it turns out. A busy Sunday and we had 7 of us and 2 dogs squeezed into a very small area making the most of it. Food was good and there is a good choice of drinks here. There's a choice of 'sharable nibbles' as well as meals on the menu. Book ahead is recommended as they were busy.

The Bell House is my favourite live venue in the city. It's tucked away in Gowanus and has such an intimate, special feel to it. You're really close to the stage, and the sound quality is always top-notch. Whether you're seeing a big-name comedian or an up-and-coming band, it's a brilliant experience. The staff are always nice and keep the events well-organised . The bar is fast and efficient, and the beer prices are fair for a venue. Just do yourself a favour and avoid the pizza.
