What an incredible meal! This place is a real gem for anyone curious about Georgian food or just looking for something a bit different. We started with khinkali (Georgian dumplings), which were perfectly steamed with a soft, delicate dough and a rich, juicy filling inside. Absolutely spot on and a must-order. The roasted potatoes with peppers and onions were simple but full of flavour, with a lovely smoky edge and a tangy dipping sauce that worked beautifully alongside them. For mains, the khachapuri was outstanding – warm, fluffy bread filled with melted cheese and a golden, bubbling top.

The food was absolutely incredible. The Georgian(Sakartvelo) wine was pure nectar for the soul. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and welcoming, and the music was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed listening to Georgian jazz. The artwork featuring beautiful Georgian landscapes, along with the other authentic decorations, added so much character to the place and really made me smile 😁. The service was absolutely top-notch. This was our first time eating Georgian food and we had a great time. The staff were warm, friendly and clearly passionate about the food with great recommendations and descriptions. As our mains we had the cheese bread boat, beef stew and chicken. The beef stew was deep with flavour and my favourite. The chicken thighs had crispy skin and a creamy garlicky sauce that was great for dipping with the bread. We will definitely come back.

We had an absolutely wonderful and comforting meal at Gurmani. The food was special and had truly distinctive flavours. For starters, the selection of all pkhalis (aubergine, beetroot, carrot, and spinach) was incredibly fresh, seasoned perfectly with ground walnut, coriander, and Georgian spices.
