Visited this location with my family end of December. Had a huge scone with cream and jam, which was a bit dryish but still tasty. The service I experienced however was very poorly. We had to order at the counter which is fine, but the older lady behind it seemed very bored and desinterested and not welcoming at all. Converation with the younger lad was defintily more interesting and when finished collecting the order it was her phone that took over her interest. Just a little smile had been enough for us. Super great place! I came in here with my wife and kids this weekend just gone, then again on my way to work today and both times the service, coffee and food were absolutely spectacular. The staff were so attentive and made sure we were all taken care of. Had high chairs for my baby and also made sure the hot chocolate for my 6 year old was cool enough for her to drink. My wife is vegan and she thought the vegan croissant and oat chai were great. The latte I had both days and they were both delicious with the perfect amount of foam! In Hastings I took the vegetarian with cauliflower-chickpea-onion. Delicious!!! We also tried the traditional with potato-steak filling and a beef-chipotle filling. All served warm. Prices reasonable.
