Really disappointing experience. We came in as walk-ins just for drinks but decided to order three dishes and clearly told the waitress to make everything vegan for my girlfriend, which she agreed to. When the food was brought by another waitress she said it was vegetarian, so we double checked and reminded her we had asked for vegan, but she said nothing and walked away. When she came back, she told us it couldn’t be made vegan because they use oyster sauce, which was surprising as the menu lists the dishes as vegetarian. Just had a lovely dinner at Nine Jars! Our visiting granddaughters and boyfriends absolutely love it. Great cocktails and fabulous food. Excellent service, friendly and attentive staff, lovely atmosphere, we will definitely be back.
