Because some so called non alcoholic drinks contain 0.5 percent. Alcohol. Saying that it’s still legal for under 18 to buy them . And breweries use this rule to save confusion amongst staff . Great pub, sometimes quite lively, always very friendly, Serves well kep great beer. Bigger inside than it looks, definitely worth popping in if you are passing, bus stop really close by (and handy for the station if you want to get off the train).
