Gorgeous location with stunning views. Great spot to have a drink. However i would NOT recommend the food here. Definitely seemed like a frozen pie and veg was not fresh, looked and tasted like it had come from a can. For Spoons prices this would be just about acceptable but with mains costing £18-£25 i would AVOID food here.

Great service and location and definitely tasty after a big hike. Quite expensive but it definitely hits the spot when you've got an appetite. About £18 for 6.5/10 Sunday dinner. Wouldn't go out my way to eat here again but will probs end up eating here again cos it's perfectly fine.

Arrived peak time and queue for bar was out to the front. Moved fast and we ordered food for 3. Some options had sold out , what we got was fine , fairly average pub chain food. Came fairly quickly considering it was packed. Menus were so gross need a good clean / replacement. Beer great and cold!

We were staying at a nearby campsite for couple nights and thought we'd go to the pub. The staff at the Rambler in were very friendly, invited us to there pub quiz which was excellent. They also know the area very well and provided us with really good information on what hikes to do. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the Edale area (the beer is also great).
