We’ve ordered from Desi Karahi several times now, and up until recently our experience had been consistently good. Their Nihari and Haleem have always been reliable rich, comforting, and flavourful. I’ve assumed, like many places, these dishes are prepared in batches and frozen, and they’ve always arrived tasting fresh and well-balanced. However, our experience last night with their Charsi Karahi (both lamb and chicken) was extremely disappointing. Their service earns a solid 5 stars; the lady attending to us was incredibly helpful. As for the atmosphere, it’s clean and enjoyable, warranting a 4-star rating. Ordered vegetable samosa chaat which was full of flavours and fresh to taste. Chicken paneer bahar was exceptional highly recommended and naan was fresh. The king prawns were overpriced for four pieces however apart from that very happy with food and would highly recommend.
