September 2025 - This is a warning to anyone using the Hitchin McDonalds car park. I had my door scraped in the car park by one of the customer collection point bollards, which are free standing and made of metal with sharp edges. The one I scraped was overhanging the kerb, which I didn’t notice until it was too late. It’s going to cost £800+ to repair. The car park is tiny and the queue for it is the same queue as the one for the drive through, so it’s often chaotic out there, especially soon after school when kids hang around the car park, sometimes playing around the bollards. Got my big mac meal from your restaurant and the burger was undercooked!!! I don't understand how they keep getting away with this what am I even supposed to do with it??? Not to mention my chips weren't even hot!!!

am writing this review to highlight the way delivery drivers are treated at this particular McDonald’s branch. While I fully understand that rules must be followed, the way these rules are communicated is disrespectful, dismissive, and often feels discriminatory. Almost every day, there seems to be a new rule: one day we are told to bring only branded bags, another day we are told not to park in a certain area, another day it’s about zipping bags. Rules are not the problem — attitude is. Staff speak to delivery drivers in a condescending manner, as if we are inferior or doing something wrong

Took my daughter to this mcdonalds this evening around 6:30/7:00pm for some food after a good day out. After buying the food, i was followed and watched the whole time i was eating my meal. Every bite that woman was staring at me and made me feel very uncomfortable whilst in there! She was pulling faces at me when myself and partner were having conversation, and further made us feel uncomfortable took my reciept from me and said that it was all for feedback!!!
