I have been coming here for about 30 years now, this is my go to Chinese when I go out for a Chinese sit down meal and travel 30 minutes from home to get here becuase it’s always amazingly good food, the staff are very friendly and it has a nice atmosphere when busy which it usually is which is also a good sign it’s a good place to go. It’s always recommended to book a table for evening bookings even midweek due to how popular it is and the fact that it’s not a large venue. First, the waitress offered to “order for us” and make it an omakase style. That’s not what I wanted. Although I was given the option to order more when they served all the things they picked, I couldn’t order all that I wanted to eat because I didn’t want to delay everyone else. I came here for a buffet but I wasn’t given the chance to order what I liked. With that said, the majority of the dishes aren’t worth trying anyway. The fried rice is good. The shredded cucumbers and spring onions is also good. Everything else? Not so much. The chicken in the first dish (deep fried chicken?) was stink

Not worth for money. 4 small pieces of crab fried for 9.80£. And egg rice mimicked as Special fried rice with 3 pieces of prawn and small pieces of chicken. Even after I told them to make it spicy adding chilli oil, they didn't, so fully bland and not even with salt. Same with lamb Mongolian style, 4 sticks for £9.80.

I had high expectations as this place used to be good years ago but it was so disappointing. I would have had better quality food if I had bought it from Iceland. Started all very dry like they had been reheated numerous times. Shredded duck was unrecognisable as duck, more like the burnt scrapings from the pan. The rice was so over cooked like mush and anything in sauce had a chemical taste. Our bill was £113 for three which included two half cokes and two beers. Think of all the takeaway we could have had for that money from our local Chinese delivery. How this place gets good reviews I will
