Absolutely love Tops Café in Hornchurch! The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and everything is always fresh and well presented. Ordered a prawn salad to go and it was £11.90 which was quite shocking anyway but i expected it to be a large portion with a variety of items which cafes usually provide when ordering a salad such as red cabbage, cucumber, tomatoes, beetroot, coleslaw, carrots and bread etc etc but unfortunately, there were lots of prawns covered in sauce which was great but then basically only leaves, 2 bits of sliced cucumber and tomato and a small slab of coleslaw - so quite disappointing, especially for the price.

We had an appointment at the vet in Romford early in the morning, and since we didn't have time to eat at home, we decided to find a place nearby for breakfast. we drove to Hornchurch and We stumbled upon this spot and checked out the menu. We have came to this cafe a few times. My nan likes it and I have family who live in Canvey that come to this cafe when visiting my nan. Always great food. Fantastic friendly staff and reasonable prices. In my opinion, this is the best cafe in Hornchurch.
