Friendly staff, which earns an extra star, but probably the worst ice cream I’ve had in all of Brighton & Hove! Powdery, crumbly, and just not creamy or flavourful at all. I had banoffee flavour and it didn’t have a hint of banana flavour. Honeycomb marmalade flavour was better, but still powdery.

Lovely warm experience. Great food - got a sausage roll, sausage sandwich with chilli jam, date slice and a reg latte. Everything was sublime! Customer service was genuine. Prices are on the higher end for sure but you get what you paid for as the food quality is banging. Highly recommend it. Thank you

There are many hidden gems in Brighton and Hove and this is one of them. went to the tapas night last night. i don't need to write about any of it separately as it was all excellent. thank you and well done The Garden Cafe. we will be back for the next one.

The food is absolutely bang average. And the prices are a rip off. Paying for takeaway as well hour before closing is fine if you want to charge a lower price then you are. If you want to charge high prices then needs to be high quality. And don’t charge high prices and put stuff in takeaway cups and bags at any point in day it’s a disgrace .
