Went for the Sunday roast on our first visit to the Durham Ox. Service was attentive without being overbearing and we had the right amount of time to enjoy the lively ambience of the pub after ordering. We went for the three meat roast, roast chicken and deep fried ice cream. All the meats were fresh, cooked well and delicious. The vegetables were each cooked well and tasted amazing and our side of cauliflower cheese was fresh and a great compliment to our meal. Dessert was absolutely outstanding. When we paid we had a conversation with someone who I think was the manager and they clearly care
