It was fine is the short version. Décor wise it looks nice, good amount of space between tables and a nice view from the window seats. Could do with making the wifi code easier to see or just remove the password since it’s public knowledge anyway. Appreciated the little hooks on the wall by every table for coats. On the food service side, everyone is very nice and friendly though they seemed a bit overstaffed when we were in. Basic cafe serving fresh high quality food. Get the scrambled egg with smoked salmon! The server was wonderful, offering up a great suggestion to visit Dornoch. It was a delight and we wouldn’t have known about the town.

Busy at lunchtime — always a great sign — and Good Craic Café didn’t disappoint! Friendly, attentive staff and a lovely atmosphere right in the pedestrianised High Street. My egg mayo sandwiches were fresh, generously filled and really tasty, served with salad, slaw & crisps. The latte was smooth and creamy too. Big bonus points for being dog friendly — our golden retriever was very welcome. We love supporting small family-run places and we’ll definitely be back! ⭐️

Great breakfast place. Super friendly and attentive servers. Loved the full Scottish breakfast except the black pudding 😆 Very cosy and home-style. Good place to sit and enjoy your food. Breakfast served until 11.20 only.
