Cocktail bar and saloon on the north end of Upper Street. There are a few cocktail bars in the area (homeboy, ladybird) but this one is probably the most relaxed and classic. Also the most inconspicuous. Decorated in a Parisian / continental cosmopolitan style c. 1920's. Drinks list is on the more conventional side, but reasonably priced for the area. None of the silly modern tricks, like the huge ice cubes etc... Food similarly not too expensive. Was very busy the night I visited, despite other places being quiet. Staff were nice, helpful and more on the laid back side of attentiveness. Nice

Such a lovely experience! We came on a whim but we would love to make this our regular. 10/10 food, service and atmosphere. Our server Reece was so lovely, we had a little dog with us and he was so kind to him. Super dog friendly, everyone was so lovely to our dog. Every single person we interacted with was so nice and made our experience so wonderful. The Thursday live jazz was incredible. Oyster happy hour was amazing, yummiest oysters ever. The cocktails were better than any I’ve had before and the prices were more than reasonable. Honestly can’t believe this place exists!
