I've been meaning to write a review for this restaurant and I'm finally getting round to it. I would class myself as a curry connoisseur. I've tried many dansaks and it's quite rare to get this dish to exactly how it should be. I am thrilled to say the chef mastered this dish to perfection. Not too spicy but enough to know it's there. Sweet and sour was balanced beautifully. I asked to thank the chef after my meal and compliment and inform that he most certainly knew how to create a perfect dansak. Very disappointing experience. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, with no sense of how to treat guests respectfully. I travel a lot and rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. We felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome that we decided to leave without even trying the food. Later, we also found out that the restaurant is using an Indian name despite the staff not being Indian, which felt misleading to us. Overall, a very disappointing visit and definitely not recommended.

Called in on a Saturday night with no reservation. Restaurant was busy but no problem for them finding us a table for two. Even moved us to a better table within minutes. The food was excellent and the service just as good and very friendly.

Very disappointing experience. The staff were extremely rude and disrespectful, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. As Indians, it was especially disheartening to experience this at an Indian restaurant on foreign soil. We felt so uncomfortable that we left without even trying the food. Hospitality and respect should come first, but sadly that was completely missing here. Definitely not recommended.
