After my second visit to ragga's in as many weeks,it is swiftly becoming my no1 spot for great carribean food,the 20 mile journey is worth every effort as the food and service is second to none,on this visit I opted for the stewed steak with sweet potato,veg,coleslaw and dumpling and it was to be one of the best meals I have ordered to date,the steak was super tender with the rich gravy,packed with that home cooked warmness,and incredibly moorish,the dumpling fresh and almost light,and the coleslaw,with just the crunch to complete the meal,with the veg,lightly seasoned with spices,and perfectl

I recently visited Ragga’s Caribbean Café and ordered the curry mutton with rice and peas along with two festivals, and it was absolutely incredible. The food was rich, flavourful, and perfectly seasoned — every bite tasted authentic. When I closed my eyes, it genuinely felt like I’d been transported to the Caribbean for a moment. The service made the experience even better. I was served by a lovely lady named Meeleyna (I hope I’ve spelled it correctly), and she was amazing. She was warm, welcoming, and very supportive while I was ordering, making me feel comfortable and valued as a customer.

Semi-Biased as I used to work here (and my brother still owns it 🤣) but the food still amazing. I went for the Oxtail which was beautiful. Meat literally fell off the bone and the gravy was rich and flavoursome. Staff were friendly and always a good vibe!
