I really would have loved to give an overall good review to this place as the owners (I assumed) were very kind and friendly and I can see it was a very family business, hence giving 5 stars for the service. You can tell the place was here for a long time and the inside was very basic and small spaces to sit. I had a mixed view of the food. The beef rendang was the highlight - the meat was a bit chewy and hard, but the flavours were nice and the roti was flaky and delicious - slightly on the greasy side. Wow! How have I never been here before? Arguably the best Malay food I’ve had in london. Very lovely service. The uncle is very welcoming, helped me with food choice, and offered me free tea. The food is delicious and the prices are unbeatable! Had the been rendang with roti and will definitely be back!

I ordered via Deliveroo App. I ordered 1x Mini Spring Rolls (6pcs) which I really enjoyed along with the sauce. And also a Phad Thai Chicken Broad Noodles. I was genuinely disappointed. The sauce was too small to mix with the whole portion. I am going to be fair with the judgement of the noodles (to soft) as they got delivered and sat there on the box for a few minutes. In terms of taste, it did not have a punchy taste, it was very neural, with soft nuances of the flavour but it wasn’t something that satisfied my craving for Asian food so I did not eat it. Arguably the best value in town. Very delicious and authentic southeast Asian cuisine. We had a chicken spring roll and the fried rice. The spring roll is crispy on the outside and moist inside with an authentic taste we haven’t tasted elsewhere in London. The fried rice is fragrant and not oily. Everything is just right. It is also a decent big portion. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended. We will definitely return.
