⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had our wedding reception here, and it was absolutely perfect! The table layout was excellent, creating a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. The food was simply outstanding—every dish was delicious, and our guests couldn't stop complimenting it. The communication with the team was seamless from start to finish, making the planning stress-free. Everything came together to create a perfect day, and we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to host a special occasion. Lovely food, fantastic service, and a flawless experience!

We came for the Xmas menu. We both had the Turkey main and Choc moose with shortbread. Arrived and was seated in one of the function rooms. Food came within 10 mins. Very very nice. Good atmosphere for Xmas parties. Though I think because we were a small party of 2 is why they forgot about us and 45 mins after dessert, we finally got our coffee and mince pie. The staff were very apologetic though. We would come back again as the staff are friendly and the food very good.

Went in Friday evening to try their Christmas menu, with main and dessert costing £28 each with a coffee and a mince pie to finish off. Food was nice and thoroughly enjoyed, service for main and dessert was good, but we were forgotten about for the coffee and mince pie and had to end up reminding them. In their defence they were busy but being pre-booked management should prepare for this.

Look at our meals and you will know how wonderful dinner we have. Delicious food, lovely staff and our favourite drink are always English Cider. Splendid atmosphere outside to sit under the sun and enjoy the view of Ouse river!
