Definitely one of the classiest restaurants in Lancaster! My girlfriend and I shared three small plates and a dessert, and the portion sizes were perfect! The triple cooked-fries and rhubarb crumble were the highlights for sure! Fully recommend! :)

The ambition is there, the staff is very nice, the hot Negroni was amazing. But the food lacked some spices and character, now it was very well prepared and everything was pleasant, but just left os a bit bored. We went for mix and match, and 5 different small dishes. Pricing was fair. Wine selection was god.

Recommend the vinho verde with food, any dishes! Great food, the wild pigeon was fantastic as well as all the dishes in the pictures. The oysters are fresh and the supplier is great. Had my birthday meal here and I loved it, only recommendation is a bigger deal with birthdays, maybe a glass of Prosecco upon arrival. This detail didn’t make my experience worse, I had a lovely time!

We were really looking forward to trying this place, but unfortunately it turned out to be far too expensive for what was on offer. Even with the early bird deal, it still didn’t feel like good value. To be clear, we were aware of the prices beforehand and we would have been happy to pay that, but sadly the quality of the food just didn’t justify the cost.
