We booked in last minute as our netball team didn’t have a match so opted for tea and a catch up instead. We were accommodated well and the food was fabulous and served quickly. It was commented on that there is a real variety of meals on the menu, so everyone had plenty to choose from. It was quiet in the bar but staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. A very enjoyable evening (and so much better than netball training 😉) Thanks and we’ll be back soon. D x

Location is lovely as ever but it took 20 minutes to order food as the staff member taking food orders was also allowing customers to order drinks at the same spot and then serving them. Food came very quickly despite this, but our fish was raw in places and the batter still uncooked on the inside. No one came to check if all was OK with our food. When we told the staff member who cleared our table we got a ‘oh sorry about that’. Fish and chips is £18.50. Not good enough.

Excellent place to eat, nice staff and excellent, hot and fresh food. Only negative was trying to pay, long queue to pay and staff on the till were serving the drinks for the people ordering food. Other staff were also serving the people who had just walked in for drinks. Took around 20 minutes to pay as was stood there waiting. Overall a beautiful place to eat. Maybe the food ordering and payment staff shouldn't also have to serve drinks at the same time if there is a big queue.
