4.2/5 I’ve been walking past Cafe Green for months thinking it was a breakfast place and was delighted to find out it was Vietnamese gem instead. We tried the wings, spring rolls, beef stew and pork noodle salad. Everything was fresh, packed with flavourand the portion size was healthy. I would’ve liked a little bit more salt on the wings to bring it all together but that’s just preference. Super cute local spot, great for a quiet date night. We left stuffed and can’t wait to go back again.

Cafe Green is hands down my favourite restaurant in Lewisham. The food is always freshly made with great care and attention, and is excellent quality. The service is always personable and at a gentle pace. The BYO deal of £3.50 per person is an excellent deal for bringing your own alcohol. It’s a small family run restaurant where they put in a lot of effort to each dish, so you sometimes need a bit of patience when they are busy, but they have never once disappointed! Outstanding!

One of my favourite dinners since moving back to London. We ate a variety of meat and vegetarian dishes. The service was relaxed but friendly, and the host gave us plenty of time to catch up with friends between courses and after finishing up. The ingredients felt fresh and good quality. And the portions were hearty without being gross. It really was everything that dining in London is so frustratingly often not. Can't wait to go back

My girlfriend went here last week with her friend and knew I’d love it - and damn she was right! Proper little gem of a place. Delicious, fresh and authentic food. Even down the chilli condiments and the suggestions for how to eat the dishes with the sauces. Would highly recommend, lives up the reviews and can’t wait to go back again! BYOB too! Really lovely staff and very reasonable prices for the quality of the food.
