Only popped in for a quick pint. 3 pints later I was thinking, this is a good local pub. A great selection of beers, the menu is simple and great covering snacks to main meals. It has two halves, old wooden beams and traditional ales and a quaint modern beer garden. Highly reccomended.

Wonderful pub serving Sunday roasts, my friends and I had the chicken with beef. Everything was cooked to perfection, tender and flavourful. I personally would prefer it with more gravy. The service was friendly and welcoming as well, would definitely recommend it for a lunch or dinner.

10/10 pub. The staff are always lovely, attentive and friendly. The playlist is always great. In the winter, they light the fire and it’s really cosy and the food is great value for money, huge portions and really tasty. This is how pubs should be run and is hands down my favourite in the area.

Really picturesque pub (the garden looks lovely, but it was a dreary day in January when I went). Dog friendly. Wide range of beers and lagers. Unfortunately, the chef had just changed and the food offering was somewhat confusing (the chef had only started that day and there was no menu). I shall definitely go back.
