If you're looking for a cheap, good spot for Japanese fare then look no further. Kuru Kuru offers a wealth of options besides sushi (though there is plenty for that as well); on an overcast Sunday, I stopped by for a miso soup and a chicken katsu bowl. The miso soup was flavourful (and a steal at £1.80) and you get a good portion size with the chicken katsu, which I had not expected, given the price (£8). Just collected my order. Such delicious phenomenal sushi, impeccably fresh. As a self proclaimed sushi lover I can confidently say this is the best sushi in Leicester. A small quaint place, it has a lovely quiet hole-in-the-wall atmosphere. The staff were LOVELY and the chef knows what they’re doing. I’m not one to leave reviews, but had to for this place.
