It was such a great lunch! We loved every single dish :) It was high quality and the portion were quite generous too! Also, the owner (Zehra) is such a lovely lady: this made all the difference. For example she let us try the wines before choosing one, she accommodated our dietary needs (one of us couldn’t eat spicy food) but most of all she was a very nice person to speak to, which made our experience even more pleasurable.

I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express just a short walk away so was delighted to find La Figa whilst out exploring. It was a lovely warm evening so diners were all sitting outside which meant that I didn’t really have opportunity to explore the interior but I think it was quite large. I was dining alone and it was early evening so luckily the restaurant was not too busy. There was a steady stream of customers whilst I was there with a number of solo diners. I love risotto so chose this-very tasty with a good balance of mushrooms to rice. The portions are enormous!

Set back from the River Thames and the renowned Narrow St, up past Dunbar Wharf in Mosssic square. A fountain outside adds a touch of Italy before you even enter. The staff are attentive, helpful and so polite. The service impeccable. Everyone served at the same time. Cocktails 🍸 the french Martini was mixed to perfection. La Figa is a neighborhood find! The food is amazing with the one of the best spaghetti carbonara I have ever had! The veal saltimbocca is also amazing and our hostess was even more lovely than the picture of her that hangs on the wall of the restaurant. If you’re in the area, you must experience it.
