Justin Swain★★★★We stumbled across this cafe half way up Steep Hill in Lincoln. We were looking for somewhere we could sit and that dod something for all. First impressions are it is a small but quaint vintage tea room based on what looked like an old shop or house that had been converted. We waited outside for a few minutes until our table was ready. We sat down to look through the menu. It did feel quite cramped as they tried to make best use of the space they had available. The service was good, prompt and efficient. Hot chocolate was delicious, good variety of food and drinks on the menu. We will be returning for afternoon tea in a couple of weeks.

We moved to an empty table because I felt uncomfortable at the table they sat us at (very cramped and close to other tables, and I am personally not comfortable like that). Got told to move back (“can you move cos that’s a 2 and that’s a 4”). Only for the 4 seater table to immediately then be offered to a single person.
