A delightfully friendly, bright and airy sunny space! Everyone working makes time to greet each customer and smile, it’s a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere here. Came in to buy some cheeses for Christmas and to try the hot cheese fondue roll, which had unfortunately sold out due to popular demand. However, Molly suggested a fantastic alternative — rosemary and sea-salt focaccia to dip into the fondue — and it was absolutely delicious. The bread was fresh, crispy, and full of flavour. Melanie then helped us select cheeses for our festive cheeseboard, kindly allowing us to sample a few so we could be sure of our choices, and we never felt rushed — a level of service you simply don’t get in supermarkets. Delightful find on the way up steep hill. Fabulous cheesmongery with a cafe for you to try some tasty treats. We enjoyed a lovely sharing platter of dipping cheese and sourdough together with tea and a nice strong coffee. Staff very welcoming, good humoured, knowledgeable & helpful. Lots of interesting things on the menu, definitely one to visit again to refuel whilst feeling energetic walking around Lincoln.
