Absolutely love the location, very quirky, a quiet atmosphere with a slight murmer of a buzz in the background. But £20 for poached eggs in a puddle of vinegary water, rubbery mushrooms and very blande sausages. Rip off, tourist trap, better off walking further and finding somewhere tastier to eat! Responding to my reviews reply: as you can see from my on line banking statment, the breakfast was £20.85, maybe i should have specified that i had to pay for tea seperately, which was probably the only decent thing i had during my visit - but how hard is it to get tea wrong? As for your 40% regula

It’s a nice place to stop and sit down for a coffee or a short breakfast. You have a lovely view on the canal. The price of the coffee is for London reasonable and was quite good. The only thing I don’t like: when I have coffee at the table I would rather have a real Coffee Cup and not a paper one

The place and ambiance are nice. My partner and I ordered some Eggs Royale and we were a bit disappointed as the portions were quite small and the eggs were not correctly poached. The chai latte was also very average. And no napkins. But yes, for sure there is this Little Venice ambiance, especially if you go the the rear of the boat.

Lovely little boat cafe! Food was basic but good. Actually didn’t expect them to have any lunch/brunch menu, as we thought it was just a small coffee and tea with cookies and muffins cafe, but were happy that they served brunch, full English, ham and cheese toastie etc too!
