We booked a table for 12:00 to enjoy a pre-theatre lunch, and it was simply delightful. Service was warm, friendly and unobtrusive - the wine list is extensive as is the cocktail menu and a really good selection of mocktails too. We enjoyed the two-course Sunday lunch with Lamb Croquettes and Buratta to start, followed by the roast beef, and the pork. Both dishes were accompanied with a huge Yorkshire pudding, delicious gravy, an all the accompaniments as well as a sharing bowl of cauliflower cheese. What a secret gem in a very touristy area in London. Superb service from the concierge to the waiters and waitresses. Friendly and attentive. We ordered from the main menu and the food was lovely. The tuna tartare was nice and fresh but could do with a bit more seasoning. The Asian salad was tasty but worked better with the additional chicken, just the veg alone was a lot. It's a lovely smart restaurant with great views over Trafalgar or at Martin's lane. Perfect location for any of the close theatres. I would definitely come here again and bring friends and family for the views.

An honest review. Service was marvellous. Location fabulous. Tuna starter...dreamy. The buts...desserts serious let down. Mains OK...wish I'd had the burger. And Saturday it's noisy, good fun noisy, but if your voice is recovering from a heavy Friday...take a stressing. Would I return...yes, great staff and next time I'm skipping dessert and having the burger!

Thank you for excellent service for our Lithuanian women meet up for a Sunday roast yesterday. We felt welcome, looked after and that made our visit so much more pleasant. The attention to detail and friendly timely service made a mutable experience. The food was lovely, portions are big and drinks were fabulous. I enjoyed my espresso martini after beef steak and that gorgeous huge Yorkshire pudding. We will be back!
